This is the blog of Madulu, a civil society organisation in the Maldives. Madulu works to promote democracy; human rights; free media; civil rights and civil liberties; social accountability; and tolerance.
The aims of MADULU are:
- Increasing public awareness on human rights and democracy
- Promoting democracy and defending human rights
- Promoting free media
- Promoting civil rights and civil liberties
- Promoting social accountability
- To work on conflict resolution through peaceful methods and to promote tolerance
